I am a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) accredited by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). I began my clinical training at the University of Massachusetts, earning a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing. I went on for my Master of Science in Nursing from the University of New Hampshire and received a Post Master’s certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner from Rivier University.

My clinical career has taken me on a journey through the healthcare system, from inpatient to outpatient settings, managing the care of individuals across the lifespan and designing technological based solutions to provide access to care at the right time, in the right place. This involves great collaboration with the resources in the community as we design and implement creative solutions. I work directly with individuals and their families not only to stabilize their mental health, but to optimize their quality of life.

I also have a partner.  She is a Golden Retriever named “Pippi”.  She loves people so much she sometimes comes to work with me. She’s a young pup so she has a bottomless desire to play; however, her drive to be pet and touched is equally strong. Pip will gladly jump up to give you a hug and sit with her head on your knee for as long as you’ll have her! I am confident that by having Pip join us, she will offer affection, relief and comfort to you as we discuss your needs.

If you are not comfortable with dogs, please let me know so that I can make sure Pip does not join our session.
